Our superb short-game area opened in 2018 and has become a fantastic addition to the brilliant facilities on offer here at Bromsgrove Golf Centre. The short-game area is incredibly versatile thanks to its clever design offering golfers of all abilities a quiet, secluded place to harness all of those tricky shots around the green.

With the specific stations around the green players can:

• Play chip and runs from the flat fringe area into the full length of the putting green.
• Play chip/pitch/lob shots over the pot bunkers and undulating terrain from the side stations into the narrow width of the putting green.
• Play a narrow green side bunker shot from the side pot bunker.
• Play bunker shots the full length of the green from the end bunker.
• Take on all of the awkward lies found out on the course with the slopes built specifically to allow for uphill, downhill, ball-above and ball-below feet lies.
• Practice pitch shots into the green from around 60 yards & in.
• Practice putting on the slightly undulating putting green.
• Play some fun rounds of the well renown short game practice game 'Par-18' allowing golfers to combine chip/pitch shots with their putting to get a true assessment of their short game.
• Practice all year round with practice mats to accommodate those wet winter months.

The short game area has been a welcome addition during coaching sessions with a large enough space to hold group sessions and clinics over whilst having a designated area for those specific 121 short game lessons.
